Trying auto-scan for importing DICOM files - nothing happens

Post by rvencu » Tue Jan 20, 2015 7:05 pm

Hi, I have a Linux installation, I try to enable auto-scan at every 60 seconds. I placed some files manually and nothing happens.

Manually importing the files from the Tools menu throws a warning (there is no DICOMDIR folder) but the import is properly executed.

By default, PacsOne Server only scans for files named with the .dcm filename extension under the configured Auto-Scan Source Directory, so make sure the files you want PacsOne Server to import/scan have the .dcm filename extension.

Did you check the filename extension of those files you want to auto-scan? They need to have the ".dcm" extension in order to be picked up by the auto-scan, while the Tools->Import function does not have such filename extension requirement.
