Hi,
I've some data related to general orders mainly the CPTs and ICD9 and patient demographics. I need to know in which particular format should i send my data to the PACS in order to have a proper worklist that would help to do study for that matter.

I've heard that PACS has its own protocol in this regard? what it exactly is? from where i can learn more about it ? can someone please guide me through?

This sounds like a question for your RIS systems, as most of them can send the scheduling data in the form of Dicom Modality Worklist (DMWL) to the input modalities, or you may need a broker application to perform the translation.
