I think this is a silly question but I though that HL7 is a group of medical standards that a medical system should follow not a feature one can add I can't imagine what it can improve in PACSOne I know I may have a corrupted idea so plz correct me.

There seems to be a growing trend of better integration between PACS and the RIS/HIS systems for improved workflow and human error reduction/elimilation. So adding the capability of understanding HL-7 messages to PacsOne would enable communication/integration with the RIS/HIS systems, which should bring value/usefulness to the users.

The problem is the RIS/HIS world is much less perfect in terms of standard compliance comparing to Dicom, as each application seems to be incompatible with the other without some kind of human/custom integration. That's one of the reasons we are seeking user inputs to concentrate on a few use-cases which may offer the most value/usefulness for most users.
