Redhat ES 4.0 Install

Post by tuxbully » Thu Feb 16, 2006 5:03 pm

I am unable to get the pacsone service to run on Redhat 4.0 ES (On 32 Bit X86) The install script runs good and the DB gets populated but the service will not start. Any ideas ? Can I run the pacsone service in verbose/debug mode?

1. Make sure you have a trial license (license.dat) under the directory where PacsOne is installed.

2. Check the syslog (/var/log/messages) and see if there is any error from PacsOne Server about expired trial license.

I do not have a license.dat in the PACSONE install folder and after a quick look @ the messages log you are correct. Thanks 8)

PACSONE[8573]: Starting daemon [8573]...
Feb 17 22:08:14 PACSONE[8573]: Invalid license or license has expired!
Feb 17 22:08:14 PACSONE[8573]: Stopping daemon [8573]...

Okay now I know the problem ... how to I get a trial lic?

You must have un-installed PacsOne once, since the license file is removed when you un-install PacsOne but the trial license will not be created again even if you re-install PacsOne. So do not un-install PacsOne unless you are absolutely sure you do not need to use it anymore.

We can create a new trial license for you if you can send the output of the uname -a command to mailto:pacsone@pacsone.net.

Admin,
You are correct again. The package was installed and removed. You got mail.
Thanks,
