Pacsone Basic and Windows Vista

Hi,

Im trying to install Pacsone Basic version on Windows Vista.

When the instalation finish and pacsone tries to start the service, appear an error message asking to close the program.

The same version works fine on Windows XP.

There is a limitation for Pacsone Basic Version with Windows Vista?

We have not tested the Basic Edition of PacsOne Server on Windows Vista, and there is no plan to do that anytime soon since the Basic Edition is not being actively maintained. So we recommend users to switch to the Premium Edition of PacsOne Server if possible.

I had the same problem in my installation of the prenium version on vista

in the service manager edit pacsone service
and assign a different user for run this service and not a blank password
that work fine here
