Customer is asking how to print using pacsone. Have not had to cross this bridge yet with your product. What do you recommend? Any particular printers? Will a regular color laser or inkjet printer work? If so what needs to be done for this to happen?

PacsOne only support printing to Dicom compliant printers, i.e., printers that run as a Dicom Print SCP application. As of the latest PacsOne Server Premium Edition (version 3.1.7), the following is a list of supported Dicom printers:
Kodak Dryview 8900
Agfa DS5300
To print images from PacsOne, first you need to add an AE in the Application Entity page as a Print SCP, and select the corresponding printer type (default, Kodak Dryview 8900, or Agfa DS5300). Then enable the Print privilege for the corresponding users, so that a <Print> button will appear when the users navigates through the Patient->Study->Series->Image pages.

What about if you use a normal color laser with dicom printing software. Such at dicomjet - http://eng.neologica.it/prodotti/dicomjet/index.html
Customer does not want to spend the money on a full dicom printer. Trying to find a solution for them with current color laser and color inkjet printers that they have.

The NeoLogica viewer can actually run as a java applet viewer with PacsOne, so you can view the images directly from the NeoLogica applet when you click on the <Show> button, and print images from there too.
See our Download page on how to setup the NeoLogica applet viewer from PacsOne:

replaced the applet.php and viewer.php files in the php directory under pacsone. (note currently using radscape)
When replaced the show option did not show up anymore on the image page for a patient. Any suggestions?? when replace the applet.php and viewer.php files from radscape back the show option appears again.

You have to install the RemoteEye appet package first, before you can apply the PacsOne customization package (RemoteEye.zip with 2 PHP scripts: applet.php and viewer.php).
If you currently has the Radscaper applet installed, and you install the PacsOne customization package for RemoteEye, the RemoteEye PHP scripts will not be able to recognize the Radscaper applet, thus no <Show> button will be displayed.

You can read that here in the DOWNLOAD Common Packages for PacsOne Server section. It reads:Tianlong wrote:How can we get the base RemoteEye version 4.1 package. I had copied the RemoteEye for pacsone package into C:/pacsone/php. I realized thats not it.
Will appreciate your help.
1. Install the package from the NeoLogica website. To install this applet viewer, please download and install the RemotEye package from the NeoLogica website, and then apply the PacsOne Server customization for RemotEye by extracting the content of the RemotEye.zip into the php sub-folder where PacsOne is installed. NOTE: This viewer is not associated with PacsOne in any way, please visit http://eng.neologica.it/prodotti/remoteye/ for more details.
2. After succesfull installation apply the pacsone patch.
