report on studies date range

Post by johnc » Tue Nov 29, 2005 11:16 pm

When I enter a date range for a study report (i.e. 2005-11-28 to 2005-11-29), a report page comes up displaying... 1-10 of 89 studies. When I click on Display All or Next, I get a messge page that says, "TO date must be newer than FROM date!"

I also get that message when I just try to get a report on a single date setting the range from 2005-11-28 to 2005-11-28.

I am using version 3.1.7

Thank you for reporting this bug, we will fix it for the next release.

Until the next release is available, please download the patched PHP scripts from below:

http://www.pacsone.net/patch.zip

and extract the updated PHP scripts into the php sub-folder where PacsOne Server is installed. Remember to backup the original versions first before applying the patch.

I finally downloaded the linked zip file. I stopped pacsone server service, backed up my pacsone.exe file and replaced it with the file in the zip archive. I re-started pacsone server. I tested the reports function and still have the same problem. When I run a report for date range 2005-12-01 to 2005-12-01 I get an "invalid date range" message. When I run a range for an old date, I get a page with listing the first ten images. When I try to "Display All" or go to the next page, I get the date range error screen again.

John:

The patch you downloaded did not contain any PHP scripts at all, i.e., the patch contains an updated PacsOne.exe but none of the updated PHP scripts, so you are still running the old scripts which would yield the same bug as before.

At this point, it does not seem worthwhile to include the patched PHP scripts to the patch download, as the next release (version 3.1.8 ) will be available soon.
