Service pacsonesvr not start in windows server 2008

I upgrade from windows 2003 server to windows server 2008 and the service Pacsone Premiun not start!! the error in the event log is (in spanish sorry)

Try downloading and installing the Microsoft Visual C++ run-time libraries below:

Hi Admin, two questions:
1 I installed de Microsoft visual c++ 2005 redistributable package and nothing happened, the installer starts the installation but shows no completion window and ...

2 I Installed pacsone in the Program Files Folder, there is a problem with this?

Well I install the microsft c++ 2005 and 2008 and the error change, now
when try start de Pacsone Premiun Service the Error is:

Error 1053: The service did not respond in time to the request to initiate or control

any suggestions?

Try the following:

1. Save the current PacsOne Server Registry settings by running RegEdit and exporting the following Registry key into a file:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\RainbowFish Software\PacsOne\

2. Open a local command shell and change directory to where PacsOne Server is installed, then run the following command to un-register PacsOne:

Code: Select all

C:\Program Files\PacsOne>PacsOneSrv.exe /UnregServer

3. Register PacsOne Srever service again by running the following command:

Code: Select all

C:\Program Files\PacsOne>PacsOneSrv.exe /service

4. Restore the PacsOne Server registry settings from the saved Registry file in #1 above.

5. Start PacsOne Server service from Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Servoces menu.
