PacsOne Server

I did a search on auto-routing priority and found one thread from January, 2004. It was mentioned that a priority could be set in the auto-routing schedule, however, I do not see that in version 4.1.7.

Can a feature be added to set a routing priority for exams received? For example if an exam comes across with a specific referring physician name, then I want it to route it to AE-1. (I can do this, but I also have a rule that has any image coming from AE-XX to route to AE-3, so the image gets forwarded to 2 locations). I would want the routing table to look at this entry and if there was a match forward the image to AE-1 and disregard any other routing rules.

This is more difficult/compliated to do because in the cases of multiple routing rule matches, it is much easier to include all matches instead of prioritize the rules and using the one with the highest priority.

We will try to add it to a future release of PacsOne Server, but if this turns out to be much more complicated than we thought, then we may have to drop this feature because of the low rewards/risk ratio.
