The log files become quite large during the course of a day(size>50Mb). Is it possible to either create a FIFO file or new files after a size limit is reached?

You can change the logging level of PacsOne Server to reduce the logged data, by modifying the following registry value:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\RainbowFish Software\PacsOne\$AeTitle\LogLevel
change the default Information to: Error, and restart PacsOne Server. After that, PacsOne will only log errors which should reduce your log file size significantly (but will provide less useful information).
