wado.php broken in 6.6.2
In a demo installation of the newest version (6.6.2), WADO is unusable. A typical URL on 6.5.4 http://SERVERNAME/wado.php?requestType=WADO&studyUID=1.2.724.33963612.20110600.17286709759638691243&seriesUID=1.3.6.1.4.1.44316.1.51.2.20161029090428.4.105163695834745893169&objectUID=1.3.6.1.4.1.44316.1.5...

Re: images converted to ImplVR during forward
Thanks, that helped. By the way, you forgot to tell that the "xfersyntax" column is currently NOT NULL . Your query would silently fail by default in the MySQL client: mysql> update applentity set xfersyntax=NULL; Query OK, 0 rows affected, 1 warning (0.03 sec) Rows matched: 1 Changed: 0 Warnings: 1...

Re: images converted to ImplVR during forward
Correct. ImplVR is not only ahead the original syntax, it is also duplicated: ImplVR original ImplVR It would look a lot more logical without duplication, ImplVR original but in the current state this resembles a bug even more. I repeat -- this is reproducible in a fresh trial installation of 6.5.2 ...

images converted to ImplVR during forward
Two PacsOne servers (version 6.5.2) are forwarding images to each other, and the behavior corresponds to the configuration "Preferred Transfer Syntax When Sending Images to This AE" = ImplVR. But, that parameter is set to None. Effectively the "None" choice is not supported. I even made a couple of ...

lots of files orureport.*.log
PacsOne 6.4.2, with the HL7 license option and installed accordingly. The "Enable ORU Report Message" configuration option is on. On every ORU message sent, a file log\orureport.*.log is created. There are just too many of them after some time, and local admins don't want to clean the directory manu...

Re: date mismatch in Daily Report email
Thank you for the suggestion. The timezone was only one hour off; but, due to some non-obvious rounding, the resulting difference was one day. The problem is solved.

date mismatch in Daily Report email
PacsOne 6.4.1. Administrator's email is set as the staff needs Daily Reports with statistics. This report, for example, collects studies from April 13th (see Date and Received On) but in email's Subject and title the date is listed as April 12th. Also the Date: header looks suspicious to me. As far ...

corrupt Action Type ID in N-ACTION-RQ (stgcmt)
I was investigating why dcm4chee-arc 4.3.0 throws an exception when processing a Storage Commitment Request from PacsOne 6.4.3, and found this: Transmission Control Protocol, Src Port: 49293 (49293), Dst Port: dicom (11112), Seq: 212, Ack: 177, Len: 122 DICOM PDU Type 0x4 (Data) PDU Length: 116 PDV ...

User Administration creates too powerful database accounts
A customer's IT manager complains: any pacsone user (even without grants) can go to the pacsone/meddream address and open phpmyadmin and make modifications in the DB (He probably means something different by "grants", but that's insignificant.) I had a vague suspicion that it's correct, and checked ...

libmysqlclient.so.15 and newer distributions
I remember that even about 2 years ago it was rather difficult to find these old MySQL client libraries for some Linux distributions. But, the customer didn't object about installing a package from older release or from some non-official repository. This time the requirements are more strict: Since ...

"Invalid Image UID" from searchImage.php
The hospital has some dental X-Ray machine by Villa Sistemi Medicali. A typical UID from it: 1.2.840.14-2PS-9091.1002.201409240811160965.1506952 (14-2PS-9091 is patient ID. Probably the manufacturer so far didn't encounter customers who need some additional coding in this value.) The resulting UID i...

Well, in my case the installation is brand new (new hardware, new Apache/MySQL/PHP, new PacsOne) and I just need to initialize the database with contents of the old one. A license transfer is involved so everything is legal. Looks like I will need to stop the PacsOne service, initialize the database...

$InstDir\*.sql missing in 6.4.1
6.3.8 installs db_schema.sql and upgrade_schema.sql but 6.4.1 doesn't. Their contents were moved to Setup.exe. Is there some other reason besides programming convenience? If not, then Setup.exe should just create them anew. It's not difficult to "play back" those strings to a file as well. Currently...
